This certification workshop trains participants in emergency response procedures, CPR techniques, and first aid protocols to provide immediate medical assistance in workplace incidents and promote safety culture.

The First Aid / CPR Program equips participants with essential life-saving skills for workplace and emergency situations. It covers the introduction to first aid, its importance, legal requirements, and the role of a first aider. Primary assessment includes scene safety, survey, responsiveness checks, and airway, breathing, and circulation evaluation, with emergency activation procedures. CPR fundamentals cover adult, child, and infant CPR, compression-ventilation ratios, precautions, and AED usage, including operation steps and safety. Management of bleeding and wounds covers types of bleeding, bandaging techniques, and control of severe bleeding, including infection prevention. Fractures and musculoskeletal injuries cover types of fractures, splinting techniques, dislocations, sprains, and immobilization methods. Medical emergencies cover heart attack, stroke, seizures, fainting, diabetic emergencies, and heat/cold stress. Respiratory emergencies include choking and asthma management, smoke inhalation, and allergic reactions. Poisoning and burns cover chemical/thermal burns, poison ingestion, and inhalation poisoning. Practical drills include hands-on CPR, mock emergency scenarios, skill assessment, and certification readiness.

The module highlights how thoughtful planning can directly improve project quality, reduce accidents, and help projects finish on time and within budget.
