The HSE Induction Program provides foundational training for site personnel on health, safety, and environmental standards. It introduces site rules and regulations, client HSE policy, contractor responsibilities, and safety culture. Hazard awareness covers site-specific hazards, common unsafe acts, risk zones, warning signage, and PPE and safety equipment usage. Mandatory PPE usage includes inspection, care, storage, and replacement policy. Permit to work systems cover hot work, cold work, and confined space permits, and permit compliance. Emergency procedures include alarms, evacuation routes, assembly points, and emergency contacts. Fire and explosion safety cover fire prevention, firefighting equipment, basic fire response, and reporting fires. Health and occupational safety include heat stress management, hygiene practices, first aid availability, and medical facilities. Environmental protection covers waste segregation, spill prevention, housekeeping, and environmental reporting. Incident reporting and discipline include near miss reporting, incident escalation, disciplinary rules, and stop-work authority. Behavioral safety expectations cover safe behavior principles, toolbox talks, peer intervention, and reporting unsafe acts.
