Course Description

This supervisory program develops leadership skills for managing industrial cleaning operations, quality assurance, safety oversight, and resource coordination in turnaround and maintenance environments.

What you'll learn in this Course?

The Industrial/UHP Cleaning Supervisor Program trains supervisors for managing high-pressure cleaning operations in industrial environments. It introduces industrial cleaning methods, UHP cleaning principles, scope of cleaning activities, and supervisory responsibilities. Cleaning planning and risk assessment cover job scope definition, risk assessment and JSA, method statement preparation, and client coordination. UHP equipment and systems include pumps, units, hoses, lances, nozzles, and pressure ratings. Supervision of cleaning operations involves work sequencing, manpower supervision, productivity monitoring, and quality control. Safety management covers high-pressure hazards, PPE enforcement, exclusion zones, and emergency procedures. Confined space cleaning supervision includes permit requirements, ventilation controls, communication protocols, and rescue coordination. Environmental and waste management cover effluent containment, waste segregation, environmental compliance, and spill prevention. Equipment inspection and maintenance involve daily inspections, preventive maintenance, fault reporting, and equipment certification. Incident prevention and response cover unsafe act prevention, incident response actions, reporting procedures, and corrective measures. Documentation and reporting include cleaning records, pressure logs, inspection reports, and handover documentation.

The module highlights how thoughtful planning can directly improve project quality, reduce accidents, and help projects finish on time and within budget.
