This competency program develops welding coordination skills per ISO 14731, covering planning, supervision, inspection, and quality assurance in welding operations.
This program equips welding supervisors and coordinators with skills to manage welding operations per ISO 14731, including WPS approval, weld sequencing, resource planning, welder management, inspection coordination, and quality assurance. Emphasis is placed on compliance with codes and standards, HSE leadership, permit control, shutdown and turnaround execution, documentation, record retention, and continuous improvement, preparing participants to ensure safe, efficient, and audit-ready welding projects.
The module highlights how thoughtful planning can directly improve project quality, reduce accidents, and help projects finish on time and within budget.
